Registration Methods Overview
NIREP evaluates user-developed non-rigid image registration methods. The small deformation inverse consistent linear elastic (SICLE) image registration algorithm is used to establish benchmark performance. The SICLE registration algorithm with and without using the inverse consistency constraint (SLE) are compared using various metrics. The benchmark registration performance will be compared to the registration performance of SPM2, AIR 5.2.5 and algorithms contained in ITK.
